Packing your Bag

Having hypos or having to test your glucose in lessons is some peoples nightmare.

Telling your teachers that you are diabetic means you could just ask discreatly to leave the classroom for 2 min where you can do a glucose or eat some food.

Most teachers are fine for you to eat in class if needs be.

My school had a box in the reception area they kept with dextrose and gluco gel in, just incase I forgot/ran out.

They also kept a spare penfill of insulin in the staff fridge again incase.

This would be down to the discretion of the school.

I would urge you to tell the staff
